Design your pool exactly how you want.
Considering a swimming pool in Cornwall? Pool Design & Build welcomes enquiries about bespoke pool design, installation and refurbishment, with practical discussions about site exposure, construction access and ongoing care.
A Cornish swimming pool project begins with the property and the way you plan to use it. A sheltered garden, an exposed site and an indoor pool room call for different design discussions. We help you compare the options and identify the information needed for a suitable specification.
We welcome enquiries from Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, St Austell, Bodmin, Wadebridge, Padstow and surrounding Cornish locations. Pool Design & Build is based at Unit 1B, Whitehouse, The Causeway, Mark, Somerset, TA9 4QS. We do not present this page as a local office in Cornwall; contact us with your postcode and requirements so we can discuss the project and arrangements for an assessment.

For a coastal or windy location, the pool position and equipment specification deserve particular attention. Shelter, cover selection and practical servicing access should be considered alongside the swimming space. We also discuss arrangements for site visits and aftercare before you commit to an installation.
Plan a garden pool around the space you have and the swimming experience you want. We discuss size, shape, steps, finishes, covers and heating alongside the surrounding works, helping you see how the finished pool would connect with your home and outdoor space.
An indoor pool brings the swimming space and building environment together. An infinity edge is another option where the site, levels and views make it suitable. We can explain the different requirements and help you compare a practical specification for your property.

A useful proposal makes the scope clear. The pool itself is only part of the project: access, excavation, removal of material, equipment, service connections and surrounding finishes can affect the overall cost. Indoor installations also need the building and environmental systems considered.
For an initial discussion, send photographs, your postcode, approximate dimensions and the features you would like. Mention any known restrictions and whether paving, landscaping or an existing pool is involved. We can then discuss what needs assessing before a specification and programme are agreed.
If you already have a pool, explain what you want to change and any problems you have noticed. A targeted refurbishment may focus on finishes or equipment, while a more extensive project needs the existing installation assessed as a whole. Photographs and details of the pool construction and systems help begin that conversation.
Discuss covers and heating together with circulation, filtration and operating schedules. Equipment such as a heat pump, variable-speed pump or automated monitoring system needs to suit the individual pool. Running costs and maintenance requirements depend on the specification and how the pool is used.
We welcome enquiries about maintenance, seasonal shutdowns and reopening support. Please provide your Cornwall location and pool details so we can discuss appropriate arrangements before agreeing the work.

Our Starline Nova 100 case study shows a completed South West project from groundworks through installation and landscaping. It is an example of our work, rather than a claim that the project took place in Cornwall.
The specification included a BINDER Hydrostar 550 counter-current system, an all-year heat pump, an OCEA InverHero pump and POOLCOP Evolution management. Completion took under eight weeks, including additional landscaping for the customer. Your project would have its own scope and programme.

We welcome enquiries for Cornwall from our head office in Mark, Somerset. Please send your postcode, photographs and a brief outline of the work so we can discuss project suitability, site assessment and service arrangements.
Discuss exposure, shelter, access, cover selection and equipment suitability as part of a site-specific assessment. Share the property location and photographs so the team can identify what needs considering. The specification should reflect your pool and its setting.
Please provide the location, approximate dimensions, photographs, preferred pool type and features, budget range and target timescale. Access, groundworks, equipment and surrounding works all affect the proposal, so an agreed scope and site assessment are important.
The programme depends on the pool type, access, groundworks, equipment and landscaping. Our featured South West Starline project was completed in under eight weeks, but that is the outcome of one installation. Your project needs its own agreed programme.
Yes. Send the pool location, photographs and details of the existing structure and equipment. We can discuss the improvements or care you need, what requires assessment and appropriate support arrangements before agreeing the work.
Whether you have detailed plans or an early idea, share your location, priorities and budget range with Pool Design & Build. We can help identify the next steps for a new installation, an existing pool improvement or ongoing pool care.
